Organ Synchronisation

The Coordination Of Awareness

Our OrganSync therapy is a deep dive into all the major organs within the abdominal cavity. Each organ has a specific relationship to an emotion, muscle and sensory organ.

For example the Liver is associated with anger, stress, frustration as well as the rhomboid muscles in between the shoulder blades and the eyes.

Therefore the balance of the organs is paramount to overall health on an Emotional, Physical and Internal perspective.

The organ system has an internal awareness system of communication known as mechanical dialoguing. The stimulus for this communication is movement. Movement is one of the major mechanisms the organs use to communicate with the brain. When movement is absent or diminished, the lack of brain stimulus will adversely affect the organs and their vitality and energetic state as well as the associated physical and emotional connection.

Our OrganSync therapy enhances the internal intelligence and self-correcting mechanisms our cells are capable of by utilising touch, and listening skills. In this context, intelligence can be viewed as coordination of awareness.

What Is OrganSync?

"The purpose of Organ Manipulation is to recreate, harmonise and increase sensory communication in the body to enhance its internal mechanism for better health" - Jean-Pierre Barral, DO, MRO(F), RPT

OrganSync is a manual therapy consisting of gentle, specifically placed manual forces that encourage normal mobility, tone and inherent motion of the organs, their connective tissue and other areas of the body where motion has been impaired.

Motion is a sign of life itself. Everything in the universe is in motion. Everything moves in space and time and we humans are no exception to this rule. Our bodies need movement to be healthy. This same principle applies to every structure in our bodies including our organs. For an organ to be healthy and have optimal function there needs to be motion.

OrganSync Therapy Benefits

Cellular

Lengthening collagen fibres which improves hydration

Physiological

Normalising pressure and tension within and between organs helps optimise digestion, elimination, absorption, blood/lymphatic flow and improves associated musculoskeletal restrictions.

Vascular

Increases blood circulation

Neurological

Re-establishes communication between the brain and the body by stimulating mechanoreceptors in somatic fibres.

Endocrine / Metabolism

Increases local tissue metabolism which in turn simulates general metabolism via increased serotonin production.

Mechanical

Increases functional mobility of the musculoskeletal system by softening associated anatomical connections.

Detoxification System

The main organs in the body's natural detoxification process are primarily the Liver and the Kidneys. When these organs are compromised then this natural detoxification process is hindered. OrganSync therapy enhances the natural detoxification process.

Communication

A way if understanding the communication of the mechanical properties of fascia with the various systems of our body is known as Mechanical Dialogue. This dialogue occurs naturally during homeostasis and when a person is in good health. Our OrganSync therapy enhances and improves mechanical dialogue during times of dysfunction.

Example mechanical stress affects an organ:

  • Eventually this strain causes symptoms, like indigestion
  • The affected organ sends sensory  information to the spinal cord
  • The spinal cord sends information to the entire central nervous system
  • The nervous system informs the body that it needs to discharge the mechanical tension to stop the indigestion
  • The person may change their posture or alter their diet in response to these internal messages
  • If these efforts do not help with the symptoms, then a more specific approach may be needed
  • Utilising OrganSync therapy techniques can help restore communication between the fascia and its functional relationships

Major Organs We Balance

Liver & Gallbladder

Liver & Gallbladder

Liver & Gallbladder

Main Functions

  • Glucose metabolism and Liver fatty acid metabolism
  • Production of Bile for digestion
  • Storage of B12, iron & copper
  • Detoxification & storage of energy

Characteristics

  • The Liver Largest solid organ in the body
  • Average weight is 1.5kg
  • Filters 1.5 litres of blood per minute
  • 70% of blood enters the liver carrying nutrients from the small intestine

Qualities

  • Important centre and source of our life energy
  • The Psyche and liver work together where the Liver serves to discharge strong emotions

Emotional

Liver is linked to anger, stress and frustration

Main Indications for Treatment

  • Right side shoulder (frozen shoulder / scapula pain
  • Sciatica
  • Right frontal headaches
  • Dark circles under the eyes

Kidneys

Liver & Gallbladder

Liver & Gallbladder

Main Functions

  • Maintains salt & electrolyte balance
  • Metabolises vitamin D
  • Aids in digestion and absorption
  • Detoxification

Characteristics

  • Strong association with the Liver
  • All blood is filtered through the kidneys
  • Left kidney is smaller and lies higher up then the right kidney
  • Kidneys move up and down by 3cm with each breath, this increases to 9cm with enhanced breathwork

Qualities

  • Kidneys are 6-8cm wide, 10-12cm in length and 3cm in depth
  • 40-50% of people have a kidney lesion

Emotional

Kidneys are linked to the emotion of fear and our genetic roots, our roots of "being"

Main Indications for Treatment

  • Vertebral restrictions of T7, T11, T12 and their associated ribs and L1-L4
  • Restriction of the Coccyx
  • Front left shoulder pain
  • Left knee pain on the inside

Stomach

Liver & Gallbladder

Stomach

Main Functions

  • Storage of food
  • Site for chemical and mechanical digestion
  • Production of gastric juices for digestion
  • Absorption of vitamin B12

Characteristics

  • 12.5cm wide, 25cm in height and depth of 3cm
  • Can hold 1.2 litres of food
  • Can secrete 1.5 litres of gastric juices
  • Can expand from 3 to 6 cm

Qualities

  • Negative pressure above the diaphragm pulls the stomach upwards
  • Positive pressure in the mid to lower abdomen pulls the stomach downwards

Emotional

The stomach represents the social and professional self. This representation encourages the image we want to project to others.

Main Indications for Treatment

  • Left side headache
  • Bloating feeling after eating
  • Heart burn / Acid Reflux
  • Left frontal shoulder pain

Spleen

Large & Small Intestines

Stomach

Main Functions

  • Filters blood
  • Removes iron from blood
  • Produces white blood cells and antibodies
  • Stores and releases blood with high concentrations of red blood cells

Characteristics

  • The spleen moves with the diaphragm outwards, upwards and backwards
  • It is connected to the back wall of the stomach
  • It is also attached to the outside of the left kidney
  • It is formed from lymphatic tissue

Qualities

  • If the spleen is removed there is still blood circulation in the area of the spleen but no filtration
  • The spleen gradually gets smaller with age, losing 25 to 35% of its total weight by the age of 70.

Emotional

The spleen is linked to the emotion of worry and grief.

Main Indications for Treatment

  • Left lower cervical spine issues
  • Repeated sprains, muscle pulls and fluid inflammation
  • Left shoulder at the top of the shoulder joint
  • Left 1st rib restriction

Pancreas

Large & Small Intestines

Large & Small Intestines

Main Functions

  • Regulates 85% of blood sugar
  • Discharges digestive fluids into the small intestine
  • Produces digestive enzymes
  • Releases insulin and glucagon into the bloodstream

Characteristics

  • There are 1.5-2 litres of pancreatic fluid produced every 24 hours
  • The front of the pancreas and its tail end is the stomach
  • Back of the pancreas is attached to the left kidney
  • It is formed from lymphatic tissue

Qualities

  • The vagus nerve supplies the pancreas
  • The pancreas lies 50% deep within the abdominal cavity

Emotional

The pancreas is linked to the emotion of grief and stress.
